Charles is a local therapist who grew up in Meridian and currently lives in Kuna with his wife, Amanda, and their four children. After beginning his career studying psychology and social work at BSU and working for six years with adults and children diagnosed with intellectual disabilities Charles went back to school at the Milan Institute to study massage therapy. After graduating he has worked out of Pioneer Sports and Pain Center in Kuna ID and Balance Point Chiropractic in Caldwell ID. Additionally he enjoyed going back to Milan as a member of the instructing staff during the transition from their night program to a day only program. His massage focuses on helping individuals stay ahead of their problems and get back on track when they don't. We all ask a lot of our bodies and as time goes on we do it more and more. I see many people who use massage to counteract the wear and tear they go through both physically and emotionally. Many people are surprised at the effects of a massage after years of pain or how much they never have to deal with simply by getting a massage every few months. Come and see what one hour can change in your life.
I personally came to massage therapy as a career after a car accident where the doctors simply couldn't do anything for me. Unable to work on me my chiropractor sent me to see his massage therapist and almost instantly things started moving forward. Massage was not the only therapy I was receiving but I believe it was the determining factor in my moving forward. I still need massage to manage my symptoms and stay ahead of my injuries but I am no longer daily dependant on pharmaceuticals to function. In fact I hardly ever take ibuprofen any more.
